About the Artist: Yangyang Pan, born in 1976, is an internationally acclaimed artist known for her vibrant abstract paintings that fuse Eastern and Western artistic traditions. A graduate of the Sichuan Fine Art Institute with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Fine Arts, Pan's work is deeply influenced by her cultural roots and personal experiences. After teaching in China, she immigrated to Canada in 2006, where she continues to evolve her unique visual language.

Pan's art is characterized by a saturated palette and dynamic compositions that reflect her emotional responses to the natural world. Her gestural abstraction captures the essence of movement and light, creating a visual symphony that resonates with global audiences. Her works have been exhibited across North America, Europe, and Asia, and are included in prestigious collections such as the Government of Ontario Art Collection, Apple, Holt Renfrew, and the Rochester Museum of Fine Arts.
