There's something about morning light and walking near the ocean that is always magical to me. The smell of the salt air the warm and cool colors and empty streets are inspiring. Although this is a little outside of my normal genre of painting fish and perhaps something you may not see often, I have been wanting to portray some of the places I have been and explore light and color through harder lines and less organic shapes.
